Called an “anniversary” because it generally will run 1 year between windings. Typical design includes a pendulum with balls that rotates back and forth. Older models have disc pendulum instead of balls. |

Anniversary Clock or 400 Day Clock |

1880-1910 |
|
Made around 1885, runs 1 week between winding. Typical design includes columns on either side of the dial with side ornamentation and cast feet. Usually black but can also be other colors. |

Shelf Clock from around 1885, pressed wood front with a 8 day movement. Most clocks will strike at the hour and half-hour. Certain models have an alarm function. |

Cuckoo clock from the Black Forest Region in Germany. Some clocks have a music box that plays after it cuckoos. Most are hand-carved and make a traditional “Coo-Coo” noise at the hour. |

Made approximately 1920’s, these clocks typically have either a round-top or flat-top. Most will strike at hour and half hour, but some play Westminster Chimes, Case carving varies |
